Auditions will consist of cold readings.
Actors are to prepare songs from the show, specific to the character that they are auditioning for (if they do perform something different, they should expect to be asked to sing something from the show cold). Readings will be cold and all should come to dance auditions.

Auditions for Civil War Journeys will be open and consist of a vocal selection and may include a reading from selected portions of the script. Music should be from the Civil War period, but other selections are acceptable. It is expected that between 24 and 32 persons will be selected for the cast. From those selected, one chorus will be formed to represent the South and a second chorus will be formed to represent the North. All cast members will be expected to sing as members of one or both of the choruses.
