Watch this summer as Mitchie Torres gets the chance of a lifetime -- attending the prestigious musical camp, Camp Rock! Rock along as Mitchie discovers how competitive the campers at Camp Rock truly are while working hard to perfect her musical talents! With the help from instructors like Shane Gray, who has returned to camp to find himself as well as some new inspiration, Mitchie will confront her fears while learning to step into the spotlight.

about the director

Karla Wilhelm has been directing musicals since high school, starting with "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" in an, ironically enough, small outdoor theater in Edwardsville, Illinois! She has directed many adult Christmas musicals and kids musicals at West Side Christian Church, and most recently directed the enchanted version of "Cinderella" for All City District 186 last July, and their production of the student edition of "Les Miserables" in 2008. She is thrilled for the opportunity to direct Disney's "Camp Rock" at Theatre in the Park this summer!
